Mr. Ponangi started his tertiary career in Science after which he proceeded to become a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). He is the Marketing Director of the V & V Group of companies under which areas such as Retail, Wholesale, Distribution, Real Estate and Consulting fall under his strategic direction and control. He was integrally involved in the conceptualisation and setup of “Brandz Unlimited” that today is one of the leading specialised retailers in Botswana of Sports and fitness goods, School Uniforms and Fine Fragrances. Mr. Ponangi has been at the forefront of Public-Private sector dialogue in Botswana after being one of the youngest members of the leadership at board level of various organisations such as Business Botswana (formerly BOCCIM), India Botswana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) and the American Business Council where he is currently serving as the Chairperson.
